This is a heroic book: it concisely covers a vast amount of material, past present, and a few speculations about the future. In one volume, Dr von Lewinski gives us primers on the evolution and rules of the main copyright conventions and of the inclusion (incursion?) of copyright into international trade agreements. She also provides an account of the subsequent evolution of World International Trade Organization initiatives. Finally, she offers a critical assessment of the current state of international copyright law, as well as some projections for the future.
