Video-sharing website finds safe harbour from copyright infringement

IO Group, Inc. v Veoh Networks, Inc. (N.D. Cal., 27 August 2008)

A California federal district court ruled that a video-sharing website was not liable for copyright infringement because it fell within a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (‘DMCA’) safe harbour.
