Armani found to infringe copyright of Dutch shoe designer

   Abstract

In preliminary relief proceedings against the Italian fashion house of Armani, the Dutch court allowed copyright protection for a shoe ‘that is almost no shoe’, but denied the requested rectification because of the publicity already generated by the case.
