A fair reward for inventors

Kelly & Chiu v GE Healthcare Ltd, [2009] EWHC 181 (Pat) Patent Court, English High Court, 11 February 2009

In a case concerning inventors' compensation, the Patents Court held that as the patent in question was of outstanding benefit to the employer, it was just that employees should receive a ‘fair share’ of the benefit to the employer. No appeal has been filed.
