Danny Awdeh
Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, Washington, DC

Perfect 10, Inc. v Google, Inc., et al., 487 F.3d 701 (9th Cir. 2007)

On appeal from the Central District of California, the Ninth Circuit reversed and vacated the district court's finding of copyright infringement and preliminary injunction order against Google's use of thumbnail images for an image-based search engine. The Ninth Circuit also reversed the District Court's rejection of Perfect 10’s secondary liability claim against Google for contributory copyright infringement.
