Laserdisken ApS v Kulturministeriet, Case C-479/04, European Court of Justice, 12 September 2006

The European Court of Justice confirmed that Article 4(2) of the Information Directive did not permit member states to introduce or retain a rule of international exhaustion of the distribution right and rejected a challenge to the validity of that provision.
