Frost Brown Todd LLC US Attorney-at-Law Cincinnati, OH
The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has affirmed a District Court decision that Transkaryotic Therapies Inc and Aventis Pharmaceuticals Inc infringed Amgen's erythropoietin (EPO) patents; this decision upheld the validity of two of Amgen's EPO patents and the infringement by Transkaryotic of three patents, including a patent that does not expire until 2015.
